08.30 AM: Meet your guide in your hotel lobby and get ready for the day. We begin with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, the city’s most sacred site that includes Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum (closed on Monday to Friday from the start of October to the end of November). In this area, our guide will show you Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s former house on stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda.
The famous Ethnology Museum gives a very interesting account of life in rural Vietnam for the many minority tribes around the country, as well as a detailed look into their past and present traditions. We will explore the museum before heading out to lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we visit the Tran Quoc Pagoda on Hanoi's West lake - one of the oldest standing pagodas in Hanoi, we then take a look around the Temple of Literature ( constructed in 1070 under Ly Thanh Tong' dynasty) which is the oldest university in Vietnam. Its temple was built as a tribute to a great number of doctoral laureates including Confucius and Chu Van An. After that, enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Activities: We will take a scenic trek from Giang Ta Chai Village to Su Pan Village, returning to Sapa in the evening.
Today you will be one of the best days for learning about the local life in your Vietnam and Cambodia Holiday. You will say goodbye to your homestay hosts after a filling breakfast and leave for the pretty village of Giang Ta Chai. Through Hoang Lien National Park and its thick bamboo forest with dramatic waterfalls, our trek will lead us to a perfect spot to stop and enjoy lunch. We will meet members of the Red Dao ethnic tribe in the village of Su Pan and experience their culture and lifestyle. From here our car/van will take us back from here to our hotel in Sapa.

Fansipan Peak
Activities: Spend a free day at your leisure in Sapa before we head back to Hanoi.
Maybe take the opportunity to sleep in and plan your free day over a light breakfast. Options are numerous in this region: perhaps relaxing with a Vietnamese coffee and some bamboo sticky rice, a famous snack in Sapa. For those who are not into relaxing, you can climb the rock stairs to Dragon's Jaw Mountain; one of Sapa's distinguished landmarks. Maybe your would prefer to visit Sapa's biggest attraction Fansipan Peak; a 3,134 metre spire accessible by cable car. (Transport to cable car is provided but tickets are not included).
We will have lunch in Sapa, collect our belongings and head back to Hanoi for the night ending 3 days for Sapa Tours. Arriving in Hanoi City, check in your hotel and stay overnight in Hanoi.

Halong Bay overview
Activities: Enjoy a cruise around Halong Bay and explore its many treasures.
Halong Bay is one of the most important highlights of your Vietnam and Cambodia Holiday – 14 Days and today you will start the Halong Bay 2 day 1 night cruise. Over the next two days, you will be exploring Vietnam’s UNESCO - Recognised destination with over 1600 islands and islets forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars.
We will have breakfast in the hotel in Hanoi before heading out to UNESCO-recognised Halong Bay.
Arriving at Tuan Chau Marina around midday you will be welcomed aboard the cruise with a free welcome drink as you meet your captain and crew for the cruise briefing. After this, feel free to check into your cabin to relax. Lunch will be served in the dining room shortly afterwards as we set sail to the Surprising Cave.
Afternoon
We will arrive at the Surprising Cave (Hang Sửng Sốt) and take a look inside to see how the cave gets its name.
Following this, we will head to the Titop Island area where we will drop anchor in the tranquil waters surrounded by beach-covered islets. Titop Island itself is a great area for swimming and snorkeling, but a short trek to the island’s peak is also popular for its clear view of Ha Long.
Early evening
As you head back to the boat make sure to check out the sunset from the sundeck. This will be the location of our Sunset Party; an ideal opportunity to meet new friends and share your traveling experience or simply to reflect as you watch the sunset.
An authentic Vietnamese dinner will be served tonight, after which you can carry on the party at our well-stocked bar. Alternatively, you can take in a movie, enjoy some games or try your hand at squid fishing.

Cua Van Village
Activities: Discover Halong Bay in the remote area for kayaking and swimming
06:30: A free Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck will help to focus the mind and strengthen the body, giving you energy for the day. Following this, a local breakfast will be served.
A smaller boat will take you to the intricate Maze Cave. This is considered one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay as it leads to the top of the mountain into which it is carved and provides an outstanding view of the entire World Heritage site.
We sail past dramatic limestone spires and through calm translucently clear waters on the way to Cửa Vạn floating village.
Once here our guide will highlight the fascinating aspects of life that the residents of Cửa Vạn engage in on a daily basis. You can explore the floating village either yourself, by kayak, or in a bamboo boat rowed by a local.
A delectable lunch will be served on board the ship.
Afternoon
You will be able to learn about the lucrative pearl trade as our guide takes you through the process of turning locally-harvested pearls into valuable commodities. After this, we will return to the cruise to freshen up for dinner.
Early evening
There is another opportunity to enjoy the sunset and share stories of the day at our group gathering on the sundeck.
Your final dinner in Halong Bay will be a real example of cuisine in this region, featuring a vast selection of wonderful seafood.

08:00: Take in the phenomenal scenery again as we head to Luon Cave (Hang Luon). Again you have the option of kayaking or being transporting in a bamboo boat.
09:00: You will check out of your cabin as we start our return to the mainland.
10:00: A cooking class will teach you how to make a Vietnamese favorite Nem Ran or, spring rolls before an early lunch is served.
12:00: Say farewell to the crew as we disembark finishing your Northern Vietnam Trip before moving to Southern Vietnam Part. Our driver will transfer you to Hanoi Airport where we are scheduled to arrive at around 4 pm. We will fly to Ho Chi Minh City where you will meet your new guide as he takes you to your hotel.

Cu Chi Tunnels
Activities: We will learn about South Vietnam’s history at the Cu Chi tunnels and War Museum.
08.30 AM: Our driver and guide will meet you in your hotel lobby to take you to the Cu Chi Tunnels and view the rubber tree plantations and village life of Southern Vietnam.
You will visit the maze of tunnels which were the former hiding place of Viet Cong and also used for their military training during the Vietnam War.
On our way back to Ho Chi Minh, we will stop for lunch and discuss the city tour that will take place in the afternoon. You will visit sites such as the Reunification Palace and Ben Thanh Market before heading back to your hotel mid-afternoon. The rest of the day is yours to carry on your explorations or relax in the tropical climate.
Mekong Market
Activities: We will be heading to the town of Vinh Long and paying a visit to the remarkable Cai Be Floating Market.
Mekong Delta attracts most of the people who travel to Vietnam for visiting the local life of the Asian culture.
The Mekong Delta Boat trip is high up on any tourist itinerary and for good reason. Today you will witness the simple life of the people who conduct their business on the river.
08.00 AM: Your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby and take you to see many wooden boat stalls of the Cai Be Floating Market. Here you can buy an assortment of exotic fruits and vegetables as well as several handcrafted trinkets for loved ones. If we have time afterwards we will visit a workshop to learn how the local method of making coconut candy, rice paste and pop-rice. A nearby handicraft village will give you the option of watching locals making rice-nets as well as cooking spring rolls with fish sauce. They may even be sewing together coconut leaves in order to make roofs for their cottages.
In the afternoon we will sit down to a local meal and be introduced to southern Vietnamese cooking. After this we will jump into a traditional rowboat to have a look at some wooden houses with their gardens of palm trees and see how the local people go about with daily lives. The Mekong Delta is very fertile land and the fruit and vegetables grown in the nurseries here are well worth a visit, which is exactly what we will do. Our boat trip will finish mid-afternoon in the town of Vinh Long. We will drive back to Ho Chi Minh City where you will spend your final night.

Activities: Say goodbye to Vietnam before your flight Siem Reap
You will have breakfast at your hotel before heading out to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap ending the Holiday in Vietnam before your next destinations in Cambodia and Siem Reap.
Our driver will collect you from your hotel and drop you off at the airport about 3 hours before your flight to Siem Reap.

Angkor wat
Activities: Spend the day in UNESCO world heritage-listed Angkor Wat. Take a tour of its highlights and explore some of its hidden gems.
Siem Reap is an important part of this Vietnam and Cambodia Holiday and you will visit the most popular destinations in Siem Reap today.
We begin our tour early in the morning at Ta Prohm; the famous temple ruins that featured in the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Ta Prohm is overrun by wild jungle and surrounded by cotton silk trees, evoking an otherworldly and unforgettable feeling. We continue our explorations of the spectacular Angkor Wat complex afterwards. The world’s largest temple complex is a masterpiece of Khmer architecture; its elaborate bas-relief encircles the central temple area and depicts many mythological stories.
Following our morning expeditions, we will be having a group lunch before we go on to explore the impressive royal city of Angkor Thom in the afternoon.
Angkor Thom features many statues of gods and demons arranged on either side of its ancient bridge, altogether depicting the churning of the Ocean of Milk in order to create the elixir of mortality. Next, we will head to Bayon Temple and its tall walls decorated with 216 faces supposedly bearing a resemblance to the Khmer king. Our later ventures will take us around Baphuon, Leper King Terrace, Elephant Terrace and the Royal Palace area. We will head back to Siem Reap in the evening to sleep.

Me Chrey Village
Activities: Observe local life in a countryside village before enjoying a relaxing cruise on Tonle Sap Lake.
Siem Reap Tours is not just about Angkor Wat. We will take a drive through the magnificent Cambodian countryside and take note of a very different way of life.
We will take a closer look at rural life in a small village. Living in the Cambodian countryside can be tough, but you will see several locals going about their business with smiles on their faces, such is the way that Cambodian people relish life.
Here, there is the opportunity to see beautiful steeped rice paddies and the local farmers' harvesting techniques. Crafts such as weaving or making rice wine have been passed down for centuries and you will have the chance to see how such crafts are produced. You will be able to try some fresh coconut and a sip or two of homemade rice wine.
After this, we will drive to Me Chrey Village. Our journey starts at the quay where an experienced local boatman will guide us gently through the floating village, giving you the opportunity to witness rural life on the water and its specific demands, such as the need for fishing and bamboo raft making. The wonderful scenery of Me Chrey is a site to behold itself; its many forested hills roll out steadily from the river's banks. Again you will return to your hotel in Siem Reap for the night.

Siemreap Night Market
Activities: End your tour with a free day in Siem Reap before your flight.
